This examination is similar to J08. It seeks to examine financial planning skills by questions which address all areas of financial needs.
The examination is based on two case studies and each case study is comprised of text and questions. The text is issued about two weeks before the examination and this allows candidates to study the text beforehand. The text will not change on the examination day. Each case study is worth 75 marks and the pass mark is 55% or thereabouts. The examination lasts three hours.
