If you are studying for any of the subjects which make up the Diploma in Financial Planning, you may find it beneficial to be able to apply the knowledge in a way that will help you to pass the examination and begin making the transfer of the learning to the workplace. The textbooks available from the various publishers are a great way of learning the knowledge and yet can leave a student unsure about the context in which the knowledge is applied in the examination.

Here at PRISM training and development, we have designed and constructed workbooks which will help students to prepare for the examination. The workbooks in each subject are designed to cover each of the chosen syllabus areas. The workbooks consist broadly of six assessments along with a final examination style assessment. The process of completion works like this:

• The student completes each assessment and e mails it to PRISM for marking and feedback.
• PRISM will return the assessment along with model answers and feedback
• At the end of the main assessments, the final examination style assessment is completed and e mailed to PRISM for marking
• A full breakdown of the answer is given to the student along with feedback and last minute tips and hints for the examination itself.

In addition to the assessment book, students will be given access to multi choice tests and other learning material to assist them in their studies. An example of the types of tests and other learning material can be found below. Access to their tutor via e mail or by telephone will also be given to assist on those areas which need more explanation.
