Degree in Financial Services PDF Print E-mail

As financial services becomes more complex and advisers are required to be more skilful at what they do, then so must qualifications keep pace.

You already have AFPC (either three or ten subjects, or somewhere in between) but you wonder what to do next.

As the industry moves to a profession, there will be greater emphasis placed on clearly understood levels of skill and professionalism. While the designation FPFS or APFS may mean a lot to someone within the profession, these designatory letters tell the general investor very little at all, either by way of what they mean or how knowledgeable or skilful the adviser is.

For advisers who wish to develop themselves and stay among the elite within the profession, why not consider a degree in financial services? Napier University in Edinburgh are running a programme which, on successful completion, enable the candidate to graduate with a BA (Hons) in Financial Services.

The programme lasts for between twelve and twenty four months, dependent upon your entry point. It has the added advantage of operating on a distance learning basis, which can be fitted around the busy life you lead.

The organisation and delivery of the degree is through Napier University and the attached PDF document will give an overview of the programme and syllabus.
