The AF subjects are:

If you are studying for any of the subjects which make up the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, you may find it beneficial to be able to apply the knowledge in a way that will help you to pass the examination and begin making the transfer of the learning to the workplace. The textbooks available from the various publishers are a great way of learning the knowledge and yet can leave a student unsure about the context in which the knowledge is applied in the examination.

Here at PRISM training and development, we have designed and constructed workbooks which will help students to prepare for the examination. The workbooks in each advanced subject are designed to cover the chosen syllabus areas. The AF1-4 workbooks consist broadly of five mock examinations, constructed to reflect the real thing as realistically as possible. Suggested answers are also given.

In addition to the workbook, students will be given access to multi choice tests and other learning material to assist them in their studies. An example of the types of tests and other learning material can be found below. Access to their tutor via e mail or by telephone will also be given to assist on those areas which need more explanation.

It could not be easier to enrol. Just click on the required module, enter your payment details and we will email your password, workbook and contact details back to you. At £100 plus VAT this represents fantastic value for money at under £8 per examination and gives 15 hours of practice.

Structure of the AF examinations:

  • AF1 – 4 will consist of three questions. Question one will be worth 80 marks, while questions two and three will carry between 35 and 40 marks, dependent on the examination sitting.
  • AF5 is an examination which seeks to test your holistic planning skills and is similar to the old H25 examination. It will be based on the contents of a fact find which will be issued about two weeks before the examination.
  • Each examination lasts for three hours and has a pass mark of 55%.
